中港經濟關係唇齒相依, 您認為香港仍有優勢(Comparative Advantage)嗎?
歷史上香港和中國(特別是珠江三角洲)的聯系緊密,五十年代前,兩地的人流和物流是暢通無阻的; 但之後兩地的發展便起了變化,直到八十年代開始中國開放改革之前,珠三角的經濟發展幾乎是停滯不前,但是香港經濟發展就一日千里 ;
記得七十年代回鄉時,深圳至廣州的鐵路兩旁只是一片片的稻田和蔗田,而由澳門經拱北返廣州就 要九個小時的顛簸車程,幾乎沒有工業發展和城市建設;
但今時今日返廣州不需三小時, 高速公路寬闊平坦,經濟發展平均每年有15%,深圳人均收入每年有5,000美元,而香港經濟增長平均每年有5至6%已不錯了, 我個人相信不足十年的時間,香港和深圳的生活水平已沒有分別,收入和消費模式也會一樣吧!
面對珠江三角洲一帶地區的崛起,香港面臨極為大的競爭威脅, 香港還有相對優勢(Comparative Advantage)嗎? 香港相對於國內的人來說仍有強項嗎?

I think the comparative advantage of HKSAR (related to the Mainland China) can also be expressed in terms of the aspect of law-and-order. We are proud of the sound legislative and juridical systems, which is enable us to have better articulation with the legal systems both on the mainland and overseas. Investors have better confidence in HKSAR and treat HKSAR as a jump-stone or bridge to future development in Mainland China.
Some trades (such as banking, insurance, logistic, accountant, express delivery, container delivery, solicitors ... etc.)in HK will continue to flourish in the coming decade, I think. (from Wong Sir)
